Webus International Announces Strategic Financing and Partnership to Enhance Global Travel Solutions

Webus International Limited (WETO), a leader in AI-driven mobility solutions, has unveiled two strategic initiatives to strengthen its global travel ecosystem. The company is exploring a $300 million non-equity financing plan to establish an XRP reserve, supporting cross-border payments through blockchain technology. This financing strategy, which includes cash reserves, bank lending, and institutional credit facilities, aims to maintain capital flexibility and drive long-term growth without diluting shareholder value.

Additionally, Webus has renewed its nationwide mobility partnership with Tongcheng Travel Holdings Ltd., one of China’s largest online travel platforms. This collaboration enhances Webus’s domestic infrastructure, expanding its "Wetour × Tongcheng" branded inter-city charter services across China. The partnership combines Tongcheng’s vast user base of 240 million annual paying users with Webus’s premium vehicle network, ensuring seamless first- and last-mile services.

The financing plan will support three key initiatives: the creation of an XRP reserve for instant, low-cost cross-border settlements; the development of blockchain infrastructure, including wallets, Web3 loyalty tokens, and on-chain booking records; and the acceleration of global expansion efforts. These developments aim to eliminate traditional payment frictions and provide a borderless travel experience for customers worldwide.

CEO Nan Zheng emphasized that these initiatives create powerful synergies between Webus’s domestic and international operations, positioning the company as a pioneer in seamless, technology-driven travel solutions. The financing plan remains non-binding until definitive documentation is completed and conditions are met.
