Interactive Brokers Expands Cryptocurrency Offerings with Four New Tokens

Interactive Brokers has expanded its cryptocurrency offerings by adding Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), Ripple (XRP), and Dogecoin (DOGE) to its platform. These tokens join Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), providing investors with a broader range of digital assets to trade. The new tokens are available to clients through Zero Hash LLC, with SOL also accessible via Paxos Trust Company.

Eligible clients of Interactive Brokers LLC and Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited can now access these cryptocurrencies on the same platform used for trading stocks, options, futures, and other financial instruments. This integration allows investors to seamlessly manage their portfolios, hedge positions with crypto futures, options, and ETFs, and view all balances and positions in a unified interface.

Steve Sanders, EVP of Marketing and Product Development at Interactive Brokers, emphasized the enhanced flexibility and diversification opportunities for clients. The platform offers competitive pricing, with commissions ranging from 0.12% to 0.18% of trade value, and a minimum of $1.75 per order. Clients benefit from transparent pricing with no added spreads, markups, or custody fees.

Key features include 24/7 trading, non-marketable limit orders, and the ability to withdraw cryptocurrencies to external wallets. This expansion underscores Interactive Brokers' commitment to providing a comprehensive and efficient trading experience across global markets.
