Fowler established Global Trading Solutions LLC, collaborating with Crypto Capital to facilitate the exchange of digital currencies for fiat money. He created multiple bank accounts in the U.S., misrepresenting them as real estate investment accounts to conduct cryptocurrency transactions. These deceptive activities allowed Fowler to play a significant role in circumventing regulatory frameworks designed to prevent money laundering in digital currency exchanges.

Involvement with the AAF

Fowler's fraudulent activities extended beyond cryptocurrency exchanges. He falsely claimed ownership of millions of dollars, which belonged to customers of Crypto Capital and Global Trading Solutions, to secure investments in the Alliance of American Football (AAF). His misrepresentation led to a substantial investment stake in the AAF. However, his inability to fund the investment contributed to the organization's financial collapse.

In addition to his prison sentence, Fowler is required to forfeit over $740 million.
