EOS Network's Enhanced Staking Program

The EOS Network has introduced a significant upgrade to its tokenomics with the launch of a 250M EOS staking rewards program. This initiative is a key component of the network's strategy to enhance participation and growth within its ecosystem.

Daily EOS Distribution and APY

Under the new program, a daily distribution of 85.6K EOS is allocated to stakers. Early participants are particularly incentivized, with an initial annual percentage yield (APY) of over 60%. This translates to more than 31 million EOS tokens being distributed to stakers annually.

Key Program Enhancements

Significant changes include the extension of the staking lock-up period from four to 21 days, offering a more robust commitment from participants. Additionally, EOS Block Producers will now earn network-generated fees alongside their block reward income, aligning their incentives with the network's demand and growth.
