PT Bursa Komoditi Nusantara (CFX), the world's first national Indonesian crypto bourse, is playing a pivotal role in strengthening Indonesia's cryptocurrency market. With 35 prospective crypto exchanges registered under The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti), CFX is at the forefront of regulatory advancements.

Regulatory Milestones

To operate as a regulated crypto exchange in Indonesia, companies must obtain a Member Approval Letter (SPAB) from CFX. Currently, four exchanges—PT Pintu Kemana Saja (PINTU), PT Bumi Santosa Cemerlang (PLUANG), PT Kripto Maksima Koin (Kripto Maksima - GOTO Group), and PT Aset Digital Berkat (TOKOCRYPTO)—have received this approval. These exchanges contribute significantly to Indonesia’s crypto trading volume, which saw a 113% increase, reaching IDR 55.26 trillion in early 2024.

Commitment to Regulation

CFX emphasizes the importance of adhering to industry standards and regulations. The company encourages other crypto entities to complete their registration, which signifies a commitment to a secure crypto ecosystem. Under the Bappebti regulations, traders must acquire a Physical Crypto Asset Trader license, transforming them from "Prospective" to licensed traders.
