BNB Chain has announced the launch of Game Jam, a dynamic Web3 gaming event set to commence with an in-person gathering in London on January 24th. This event aims to unite game developers in a four-week game-building challenge, offering a platform for Web3 enthusiasts to connect and explore cutting-edge gaming prospects.

Developer Showdown: A Global Competition

Following the London event, BNB Chain will host an online competition from February 1st to February 28th. This phase invites game developers worldwide to participate in various contests across multiple platforms. The competition includes mentorship workshops and offers prizes for top submissions, encouraging a robust development environment.

Participation and Categories

Teams of up to four developers can join the challenge remotely via the BNB Chain Game Jam’s page. Throughout the event, participants will benefit from workshops on game design, art, and blockchain development. Game submissions will be categorized into Mobile, PC, Web, and on-chain integration, assessed based on gameplay, graphics, user experience, and BNB Chain integration.

Evaluation and Rewards

Submissions will be evaluated with equal emphasis on all criteria, requiring detailed explanations from each team. Winning entries will advance to the Most Valuable Builder 6 (MVB6) accelerator program by Binance Labs. The top three in each category will gain exposure on Twitter and receive kickstarter packs. On-chain category winners will receive priority for grants and BNB Chain support for future projects.
