The company is particularly interested in PhD candidates specializing in thermal energy, machinery, electrical engineering, and materials science. This initiative seeks to recruit 24 graduates globally, offering benefits such as free dormitory accommodation for three years or discounted rent. The recruitment extends beyond China to include regions like Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States.

This recruitment drive follows Bitmain's announcement of a strategic partnership with Anchorage Digital to acquire equity in Core Scientific, a major Bitcoin miner. Core Scientific had filed for bankruptcy due to financial struggles, including declining revenue and falling Bitcoin prices. However, updates on this acquisition remain pending as of now.

Hosting the World Digital Mining Summit 2023

Bitmain is also organizing the World Digital Mining Summit 2023 (WDMS 2023) in Hong Kong, scheduled from September 22 to 23.
