Michael Saylor, a prominent Bitcoin advocate and co-founder of MicroStrategy, highlighted Bitcoin's annual performance, which has stood out since MicroStrategy's first Bitcoin purchase in August 2020. As of September, Bitcoin boasts annual gains of 51%, outperforming the Magnificent 7 stocks index, which includes giants like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, and Tesla, with a 27% rise. The S&P 500 follows with a 14% increase, while real estate and gold show gains of 10% and 7%, respectively. Bonds, however, have experienced a decline of 4%.

Saylor emphasized Bitcoin's resilience by stating that "Bitcoin is Storm-Proof" as it recaptured the $66,000 level. Despite a minor decline to $65,816, Bitcoin continues to demonstrate strong market performance. This recent surge was initially driven by a 50 basis point interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve, the first in four years. Subsequent announcements by the Central Bank of China and substantial Bitcoin purchases by BlackRock further fueled Bitcoin's ascent.
