Bitcoin HODLers, investors who have held BTC for over six months, have transitioned from net sellers to buyers for the first time since September, according to Compass Point Research. This shift is viewed as a bullish signal, as HODLer activity often precedes price movements. The firm highlights that this change in behavior could foreshadow an upcoming price rally.

Market Stabilization and Improved Sentiment

The cryptocurrency market is showing signs of stabilization, with Bitcoin gaining 4% over the past week, recovering from a low of $77k. Additionally, Bitcoin futures funding rates have risen to an average of 3%, reflecting improved market sentiment. Despite a decline in weekly crypto trading volumes, the resurgence of HODLer accumulation is seen as a positive indicator.

Recovery in Fear and Greed Index and Stablecoin Inflows

The Fear and Greed Index has risen from 15 to 22, suggesting reduced fear and increased willingness to buy. This aligns with a significant increase in stablecoin inflows, which reached $2 billion last week, pushing the total supply to an all-time high. Long-term HODLers now own 65% of the BTC supply, up from 63% last week and down from 73% in early October.

This combination of factors suggests a potential bullish outlook for Bitcoin, driven by HODLer accumulation and improving market sentiment.
