Binance Founder CZ Predicts Bitcoin Could Reach $500,000 to $1 Million

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has shared a bold prediction for Bitcoin, suggesting it could reach between $500,000 and $1 million in the current market cycle. In a recent interview, Zhao cited growing institutional interest, regulatory developments, and increased acceptance as primary factors driving this potential growth. He noted that the approval of Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. and the involvement of sovereign wealth funds and traditional finance further strengthen the market's position for expansion.

While meme coins have garnered significant attention, Zhao believes most will fail, emphasizing that long-term value lies in areas like artificial intelligence, decentralized science (DeSci), and real-world asset tokenization. These sectors, though currently underappreciated, are gaining momentum.

Reflecting on his role, Zhao, who is no longer CEO of Binance, now focuses on mentoring founders, investing in decentralized technologies, and building educational platforms. He acknowledges the importance of centralized exchanges for user adoption but sees a future where decentralized infrastructure dominates trading.

Zhao also shared personal insights, describing his four-month prison sentence as a transformative experience that shifted his focus to health, family, and long-term impact rather than business and public prominence.
